Cardex & IT Security Takes Place alongside MIPS

The 6th International Exhibition and Conference of Smart Cards and IT Security Technologies CARDEX & IT SECURITY 2009 will take place in the Expocentre at Krasnaya Presnya from the 13 to 16 April 2009. This event is organised by ITE, the leader of exhibition business in Russia.

For the first time Cardex exhibition will be run alongside MIPS, which has been held since 1995 and is the leading specialised safety and security forum in Russia.

CARDEX & IT Security is a specialised forum presenting the latest achievements in the field of plastic cards and the recent technologies of IT security.

Exhibitors will demonstrate card production and personalization equipment, software for electronic bank operations and network management, components for manufacturing various types of cards, bank machines, identification and authentication means, electronic signatures and biometric systems of image recognition.

In particular, ARCOM Group will present new products in the field of POS terminals and EMV solutions for the retail sector on the basis of smart pin pads, modern models of information and payment terminals Infotochka.

INPAS company will demonstrate smart security solutions Smotritel: Smotritel — Terminal, Smotritel – Bank Machine, Smotritel – Self-Service Office and a new project Smotritel – Centre. Smotritel is a unique product as it can work with any bank machines produced by Wincor Nixdorf and NCR, while development of an interface to work with Diebold bank machines is under completion.

On 15 April, Cardex Conference will take place within the exhibition bringing together leading specialists of the industry. Participants of the conference will discuss card technologies, non-cash payment systems, IT-Security of all types of non-cash transactions and other issues.

The exhibition and the conference are held under the support of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, Association of Russian Banks, Security Committee of Moscow City Duma, and Association of International Cooperation of Privately Owned Enterprises of Security.
