On behalf of the Association of Russian Banks, I welcome the organisers and participants of the 6th International Exhibition and Conference of Smart Cards and IT Security Systems “Cardex & IT Security 2009”.
At present, information technologies are widely used in all fields of industry. Introduction of state-of-the-art technologies provides for the saturation of domestic market with new technical means, strengthening of safety and security, improvement of settlements and control. It is important that to avoid leakage of information, all specialised services pay particular attention of the development of means and methods of confidential information protection.
Business programme of the exhibition will allow discussing topical issues facing specialists of the industry, exchanging experience and methods, improving efficiency of interaction between various market sectors and administrative bodies.
An important part of the agenda is the discussion of plastic card market development issues in Russia, as one of the key businesses of banking sector. I am confident that participants of the conference will have an opportunity to evaluate market growth prospects and constrains and offer efficient measures aimed at bringing new clients to the plastic card sector and provision of safety of all market players.
