On behalf of the Committee for Economic Security of Free Economic Society of Moscow, I welcome the organisers, participants and guests of the 4th Moscow International Exhibition and Conference of Smart Cards and IT Security Systems «CARDEX & IT Security 2007».

At present, information technologies are used in all fields of industry. Introduction of state-of-the-art technologies will contribute to the saturation of domestic market with new technical means, facilitating of managements procedures, improvement of security level, calculations and control. The main danger is leakage of information.

That is why today all specialised departments work on the development of means and methods for protecting confidential information.

I believe that «CARDEX & IT Security 2007» is a very timely and important event for specialists and entrepreneurs, as it will feature new developments in the field of smart cards and provide an opportunity to get a professional opinion.

It is a pleasure to mention the 4th Moscow International Conference of smart cards and security systems to be held within the exhibition providing specialists with an opportunity to discuss the key issues of the industry and develop a strategy for resolving such issues.
