of Smart Cards and IT Security Systems
«CARDEX & IT Security 2007»

On behalf of the Association of Russian Banks let me welcome the organisers, participants and guests of the 4th International Exhibition of Smart Cards and IT Security Systems «CARDEX & IT Security 2007».

At present time of rapid development of information technologies and introduction of the latest scientific achievements in every-day life, the risk of disclosure of confidential information becomes much higher, which causes the necessity for information protection.

The main objective of the Exhibition is to join the largest Russian and international manufacturers of smart cards, producers of equipment, software and applications; to provide them with an opportunity to share experience and demonstrate the most recent products in this field; to contribute to the saturation of the Russian market with technical means aimed at facilitating and simplification of management and settlement processes; and to join the efforts in the development of information protection and security means.

We are glad that Smart Cards and IT Security Systems Conference will be held alongside the exhibition, which will allow specialists to discuss key issues of the industry and develop a strategy for further development.

I am confident that this specialised forum covering the most critical and important for the Russian community issues will become a milestone for optimization of IT security systems.

I wish participants and guests of the exhibition and the conference «CARDEX & IT Security 2007» every success and productive work.
