On behalf of specialists engaged in crime fighting in the field of information and telecommunication security, I sincerely welcome the organisers, participants and guests of the 4th Moscow International Exhibition and Conference of Smart Cards and IT Security Systems.
Modern economy and management are impossible without effective use of smart cards being an integral element of the unified national and interstate information space.
In such conditions, safety of system performance associated with the application of smart cards, including that at the international level, becomes of even higher social importance.
That is why Bureau of Special Technical Measures of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia believe that safety provision of the national information space and its users is one of the top priority trends and, accordingly, place special emphasis on such events contributing to the dialogue between state, public and commercial organisations and providing for further development and application of the state-of-the-art security technologies of telecommunication systems.
There are no doubts that goals and objectives set by the organisers and participants of this specialised forum will be successfully achieved, and this event will become an excellent ground for the development of reliable and safe information space of the Russian Federation.
